Tell us a little about SlipDoctors.

We’ve been in business for 5 years, and the past 12 months have seen significant growth. We are always working to develop new products for our customers focused on floor safety in homes and businesses. We take pride in providing exceptional customer service, and using ShipWorks has helped us maintain that goal.

What was SlipDoctor’s shipping process like before choosing ShipWorks?

We would log on to our Fedex and USPS accounts and copy and paste shipping info for each order. It was a very time-consuming process and presented too many opportunities for incorrect or incomplete shipping information. It was also difficult to provide quick information re: tracking and order details when Customers called etc.

What results have you seen with ShipWorks?

Before ShipWorks, processing orders on a typical busy Monday morning could take 4+ hours. It would be time for lunch before we were finished! With ShipWorks, even with the increase in number of orders, the process is much more streamlined and efficient. We can typically process orders in just a few hours. Also, the various reporting options available in ShipWorks make producing sales report simple and easy.

What ShipWorks’ features do you like most?

How do we pick just one! There are many features that we really like, but being able to quickly access order history has been incredibly helpful. When a customer calls and wants to check tracking details or place another order, ShipWorks provides quick access to the details and the customer is wow’d by our efficient customer service!

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to an entrepreneur starting an ecommerce business?

Knowing your product(s) and how to best promote on various platforms to reach your target market are vital.

Where do you sell and what carriers do you use to ship your products?

We currently sell on Amazon, eBay, Etsy as well as our various websites (slipdoctors.com, tushiesandtoes.com, nosliptape.com, nonslippaints.com, and ada-grab-bars.com). We are researching new platforms as well. We ship with Federal Express, USPS and UPS. The majority of our orders are shipped worldwide via Federal Express. However, we use USPS to ship our smaller items, and some of our vendors request that we ship via UPS.
