Tips and Tricks: Moving ShipWorks from One Computer to Another

As you gear up for the holiday season, it’s important to make sure your computers are ready too. If you bought a new computer to help you manage the holiday rush, you’ll probably want to put ShipWorks on your new computer. Here’s what you need to do.

1. Using ShipWorks, make a database backup of your current ShipWorks setup. Go to Manage > Backup and save a backup on a network or a portable memory device (like a thumb drive).

Since you’re using a new computer, you may also need to adjust your template settings (thermal standard) and printing rules (thermal / standard) to reflect your new computer’s setup.
