Tips & Tricks: Changing a Default Printer in ShipWorks

To specify a default printer in ShipWorks, you will simply need to change the printer that your template is using. Follow the instructions below based on your printer type (standard/thermal).

Please note: Commercial invoices, packing slips, and invoices will need to use a standard (inkjet/laser) printer. Thermal labels will need to use a thermal printer.

To set a standard printer (inkjet, laser) as a default printer:

1. In ShipWorks, go to Manage > Templates.

Manage - Templates

2. Expand (image) the “Labels” folder.
