Have you ever received an error message stating, “String was not recognized as a valid DateTime”? If yes, you’ll need to configure regional settings found in your Windows Control Panel (not ShipWorks).

Here’s how to find the setting for common Windows operating systems like Windows 7, 8, and XP.

3. Click on Region and Language (Windows 7) or click Change Date, Time, or Number Formats (Windows 8). For Windows XP users, clickRegional and Language Options > Customize > Customize Regional Options
