I can no longer download orders from Amazon. The first error message was that the security code was past dated or expired so I visited the AWS site and got a new key and certificate. Now when I try to add that information and click enter, I get the following error message, "Feature SellerLookup is Deprecated"

I have no idea how to fix this and I LOVE Shipworks but will have to cancel if I can't get it to work. Sad I'm running 2.9.68 (rev. 25358)

Thanks so much in advance for any help you can provide.

ShipWorks v2.9 doesn't support Amazon's new MWS system. If you're getting this message you've likely deleted your Amazon Access Key which basically kills the fact that your account is "grandfathered" in to use their AWS technology; which Amazon is deprecating (no longer supporting going forward).

Unless Amazon can restore this for you, you will need to upgrade to ShipWorks v3 which does support the Amazon MWS connection type and use that instead.

I didn't delete my Amazon Access Key but I did get an email saying my "free" space was no longer available. I'm guessing it has something to do with that.

I tried to upgrade to 3 but it want's my user name and no were in my account can I find my user name so I can't complete the process. If you could email it to me that'd be fabulous. I've checked "My Account" and used every possible piece of information in there along with my password and they all come up as mismatched.

The username and password that was created are only stored locally on your computer, so isn't something we can obtain without remote access to your computer.

Please open a case from our contact webpage and a technician will contact you to help recover your username and password.

Hi Brett, I need help please.

I also have the "Feature SellerLookup is Deprecated" error after trying to update the certificates. I did not delete my access code. I don't know what to do now. I'm running v2.9. I know we need to upgrade to v3 eventually but I'm trying to download orders today.

Thank you.

My reply was in regards to the SSL Certificate error which has since been resolved. Apologies for being cryptic on that.

The error you're getting is because your Amazon x.509 certificates have expired (Amazon forces those to expire every 12 months) or because your Amazon account is no longer eligible to use their AWS system.

You will need to recreate your Amazon x.509 certificates. Details on a similar process that's done in v3 is here: http://www.youtube.com/shipworks#p/a/u/0/LEEQh2ha9T8

To access this in v2.9 click Manage > Stores > choose Amazon store > Amazon tab > Amazon certificate button.

If this isn't working for you, your account may no longer be eligible to use AWS in which case you'd need ShipWorks v3 to use their new MWS technology.

If you're still stuck, please open a case with our support team via our contact page.

When we log into our amazon account, nowhere does it say that we must migrate off AWS. It has all the same AWS information that we've seen in the past. And I read yesterday in this forum that Amazon was giving users an additional year to use AWS. Are you saying that we must migrate to Shipworks 3 now? Right in the middle of the Christmas season?

Will it be easy? How can we guarantee our success? Im sure I'm not alone here.

Unfortunately this customer's Amazon AWS account/accessibility was deprecated.

Customer is upgrading to v3 to for use for this specific Amazon account to utilize Amazon's new MWS technology, and will continue to use ShipWorks v2.9 for their other working shopping carts.

We've been advised to enable MWS in our Amazon store but we do get this prompt before doing so:

What does that mean exactly? Will we not be able to email customers a confirmation automatically?

That message is outdated and likely needs to be updated. Email addresses do successfully download at this time.

Amazon’s new technology does not currently allow ShipWorks to download Amazon Web Store orders, item weights, or images. In addition, Amazon now limits the number of downloads that can be requested in a given period of time.
