You will likely need to upgrade to ShipWorks v3 which supports Amazon's new MWS technology.
The Amazon AWS technology has been retired for most users and is no longer available. AWS is the technology v2.9 is using to download, likely causing the problem you're seeing. _________________ Brett Berger

Upgrading to ShipWorks 3:
Step 1
To get started, please view the following video tutorial that explains how to upgrade from ShipWorks 2.9 to version 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbauvnpTdv8
Step 2
After upgrading to ShipWorks 3 you will need to adjust some settings in the ShipWorks Store Manager. Please view the following video tutorial that explains how to switch from AWS to MWS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PfSsmmag8A
After upgrading to ShipWorks v3 and switching to Amazon MWS you should be able to download new Amazon orders. You may now choose to download (or exclude from downloading) Amazon FBA orders by adjusting your settings in the Store Manager.
Please note there are some limitations of Amazon’s new MWS system. Amazon’s new technology does not currently allow ShipWorks to download Amazon Web Store orders, item weights, or images. In addition, Amazon now limits the number of downloads that can be requested in a given period of time. _________________ Brett Berger

Can I install Shipworks 3 while still keep ShipWorks 2 on the same computer, in case if anything went wrong so I can still work on ShipWorks 2?
Can ShipWorks 2 and 3 work on the same computer without inerfere each other? |

Yes, you can use them separately. You can even have both open at the same time, just launch v2.9 first.
When you install ShipWorks v3 on the same v2.9 computer that's running a database you'll be given the option to install separately. _________________ Brett Berger
