cannot download my orders CRITICAL!

All of a sudden I cannot download orders. It says "you do not have permission to perform the selected function."

No setting were changed, no upgrades, nothing done as far as I know to cause this sudden issue.

(the only thing i did was change my paypal password today, but not all of my orders are processed through paypal.)

This is a critical issue as we are running a big sale right now and I have a huge volume of orders to ship.

Please help! Exclamation

What online platform are you connecting to that isn't downloading?

If you haven't touched\upgraded ShipWorks, then that error would be coming from the online platform.

I do not know what you mean by online platform. Do you mean my shopping cart host?

Correct, your online Shopping Cart/Storefront Provider. If you've updated a password for the cart/technology that ShipWorks connects to to download orders, you likely need to update the password/token value in ShipWorks to have the correct new value, otherwise it'll try to download and will be using the incorrect password.

I did also change my shopping cart password, but I have no idea how to update that in the shipworks program. Can you give me some direction please?

From the ShipWorks main window go to Manage -> Stores. Select the store you need to change the password of in the dropdown box at the top. Then on the 3rd tab, that would be named as your online platform / shopping cart, should be the settings you need to change.
