When I click on an Amazon Order # in Shipworks, it used to open up a new browser window and load up that order in Amazon Seller Central. Now when I click on the link an error window appears and says:

ShipWorks could not open the URL.
(No application is associated with the specified file for this operation)

How do I fix this and get ShipWorks to associate my internet browser to open when I click on the Amazon Order number?

ShipWorks just asks Windows to open the URL... we don't control how Windows accomplishes that or what browser to use.

Perhaps you need to set your default browser?

Or fix your .htm file association?

Thank you for your help, the problem is solved so I just wanted to update on the solution.

It was somehow related to the Windows default browser settings. IE was set as the default browser, however I changed Chrome to the default browser and as soon as I did that, clicking on the links within Shipworks worked again.

I then went back into IE and changed it back to the default browser and links within Shipworks still work (and now open in IE rather than Chrome).

Apparently Windows had somehow "forgotten" my default browser settings even though it looked as if IE was correctly enabled as default browser.
