In the Shop Invoice program you were able to select which area of the page to print out a label.
So on a page of 4 labels if you print out 3 of them and have a label left over you could re-use the sheet to print a single label with the one left over.
In the new ShipWorks program I can't find a way to do this. Is this a coming feature or have I just missed something? |

Hello,
Specifying column/row for printing labels is not currently available in ShipWorks.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.

| I sure hope the row and column option is in the "Add to Program" list, in fact the whole "Label Center" is added to the new version as International orders and APO's can not be shipped by Priority Mail and we use the Plain Shipping and Return label option to print labels for Air Mail and Priority Mail with out confirmation. :( |

Hello,
The new generic (Avery/DYMO/custom)labeling capabilities in ShipWorks are improved from previous versions. Now you can print labels without leaving the main screen, and label templates can be set to print to specific printers and trays which eliminate the need to configure your printer settings each time you print labels.
The ability to specify column/row settings will be available in a forthcoming release.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.

| How do you configure a label and tell it to print from a specific tray? I can't find anything in the menus about label anymore. |

Hello,
This is configured in the Template Manager.
Manage --> Manage Templates
Then select the desired template and modify your printer settings as needed.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Nevermind.... I finally found them under Manage Templates. You can edit your labels there and tell them where to print.
It is a better interface, but not where I expected to find it.
Thanks,

Okay, new problem.
The labels are being cut off slightly... I'm working on uploading a picture of a label.
I'm using the UPS label template, then telling it to use "UPS - Peel and Stick - 4 Up".
It barely cuts off the right side of each label... maybe .25" of it. |

Hello,
Have you tried using the printer calibration feature? Manage --> Manage Templates. Click on the name of the label template you need to calibrate, then click on the Label Setup tab. Click on the printer icon to the right of the label name and you can print a calibration sheet then enter the proper offset information to re-calibrate the label sheet for your printer.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.

This didn't do anything. Calibration was only off by .03".
It just looks to me like the label doesn't get scaled down far enough to fit on the label, so it crops it. |

Hello,
Do you have the SureSize option enabled in the Template Manager for your label template (UPS Label)? The SureSize option should be checked.

Hello,
Have you tried printing other UPS label sheets (ie. UPS Full) to see if you experience a similar issue?
Thanks,

Here is what I've been able to determine. If I print a full page label, then the "fold here" should be in the middle of the page and it is not. There seems to be a large space on the left of the label which would account for why some of it is being cropped off.
Is there a number I can call to take care of this? I can't go another day w/o printing labels. |
