Announcing Reduced UPS® Rates for ShipWorks Users
Fall 2019, Stamps.com announced a partnership with UPS®, introducing a number of pre-negotiated shipping rates and discounts for its users. You may be wondering: How does this affect me and my business?
As a Stamps.com company, we’re thrilled to be able to extend these reduced UPS® rates to all ShipWorks users.

McBride says, “This new collaboration will allow us to bring the leading shipping solutions of UPS to our customer base in a simpler and more seamless fashion, and at very attractive new discounts.” In addition to offering deep discounted rates to ShipWorks users, UPS also offers a guaranteed delivery program, which refunds shipping charges if a package is delivered later than the committed time.

What are the UPS® discounted shipping rates?
ShipWorks users will receive up to 66% off UPS 2nd Day Air® and 50% off UPS® Ground shipments. Combine those discounts, and it’s like shipping two packages for the price of one.
Additional benefits include the aforementioned guaranteed delivery program, exemption from certain surcharges, and no minimum shipping volume is required. Learn more here.

They’re ready now! New and existing Shipworks users, based in the United States, can add their account and start shipping today. Don’t forget to have version 7.8 installed!
What if I already use my own negotiated UPS® rates?
The new UPS discounts will not affect any rates negotiated outside of ShipWorks. If you prefer to use your own shipping rates—regardless of carrier—you are still able to connect your existing accounts to ShipWorks.
How do I take advantage of these discounted shipping rates?
Every ShipWorks user qualifies for the reduced UPS rates through ShipWorks. However, you must set up a new UPS account through ShipWorks One Balance. Step-by-step instructions can be found in the ShipWorks knowledge base.
